Characteristics
• Nova Mix Additive is a formulated acrylic
copolymer additive.
• Nova Mix Additive when mixed with Novatex
cement based adhesive and renders increases
strength and flexability.
• Nova Mix Additive can be mixed with Novatex
Grouts when grouting over substrate prone to
movement e.g. Timber floors.
• Nova Mix Additive can be mixed with sand and
cement for increase strength and flexibility and
mixed with neat cement as a slurry coat.
Handy Tips
• Do Not apply Nova Mix Additive in temperatures
above 38°C and below 5°C.

Preparation
• Ensure surfaces are sound dry and free from movement oil grease wax
dust and any curing and release agents.
• For non porous surfaces such as painted surfaces tiles etc please contact
Novatex Products for information.
Mixing
• When mixing with grout mix 1 part additive to 3 parts water.
• When mixing with Novafix and Supanova for swimming pool application
mix 1 part additive to 2 parts water then use this as gauging liquid for
adhesive.
• When using as a slurry coat mix 1 part neat cement with 1 part Nova Mix
Additive.
• When mixing with Novatex Renders mix 1 part additive to 3 parts water the
use this as gauging liquid for renders.
Clean up
• Tools and other equipment can be cleaned up using water while the
additive is still wet.
Coverage
• Coverage of Nova Mix Additive will vary depending on application.
Packaging/Shelf life
• Nova Mix Additive is available in 20lt and 5lt pails.
• A pail of Nova Mix Additive when kept in a cool dry environment and
stored above ground level will have a shelf life of approximately 12
months.
