ARQUET ADHESIVE

ARDEX AF 2420 is a solvent free silane based moisture cure timber adhesive free of isocyanates. With high strength AF2420 installed timber stays adhered to the substrate in heavy traffic areas. Installed timber can be trafficked after 6 hours and sanded after 24 hours.

Setup Time • Wet set — install immediately

Working Time • Approximately 20 minutes

Substrates • Cementitious underlayment and concrete with less than 5.5% moisture content or 70% RH Floor Coverings • Timber parquet • Timber plank • Permanent internal application

Coverage • For parquet on a primed smoothed substrate with B3 trowel approximately 1.8m2 per kg* * Caution: Trowel size guideline only. Actual conditions vary proportional to timber size and substrate preparation. Do not proceed until site verification that proposed trowel transfers sufficient adhesive.

Packaging • 10 litre pail containing 15kg of adhesive

Installation Tip Do not weight down freshly installed timber to avoid unnecessarily creating voids under the timber and compromising final bond.

IMPORTANT NOTICE — Moisture cure adhesives cure with atmospheric moisture. Low humidity will increase the time required to set up and achieve final cure.
