Top Trim

In many new or existing tile installations the tiling stopped at

a certain level because the specifi er or homeowner did not

wish to tile from fl oor to ceiling.

After fi nishing tiling to a bare wall a common practice has /

had been to “cap” the tile off with an angled grout joint that

remained exposed or was painted the same colour as the

wall to match existing décor. No consideration was given to

making the fi nished tile edge a feature. Use of a trim creates

a neat aesthetic and provides a surface that is easy to clean.

The B.A.T. Top Trim was designed with this in mind. Coming

in 3 different sizes as listed the Top Trim allows for tiles of

most thicknesses to be fi nished off with a concave fi nish that

not only can hide an unsightly cut but also aid in creating an

area that can be cleaned by simply running a dish cloth along

the concaved surface as opposed to trying to clean a painted

area with a wet cloth which can prove to be a diffi cult task.
